NASHUA VALLEY RR ASSOCIATION

Home of New England Rail

NVRRA Model Railroad Club is an HO scale model railroading club in Shirley, MA. The NVRRA builds, maintains and operates a permanent layout that models the fictional New England Rail system. New England Rail, in the "official" history of the NVRRA, took over the Boston & Maine Railroad right of way from Boston out to the B&M's Hudson River crossing at Mechanicville, New York.

Meetings

The club is typically open every Thursday and Sunday evening from 7 to 10 pm. Business meetings are held the 1st Sunday of the month at 7 pm.

Persons wishing to visit the layout should use our Contact US page to drop us a line (we can't guarantee we'll be there every Thursday and Sunday). We'll get back to you and schedule your visit.

Cancellation of Fall 2020 RailFair

Concerned about the safety for all participants we have been forced to cancel this years RailFair. We are scheduled to hold next years RailFair21 again at the Boxboro Regency Hotel & Conference Center on the weekend of October 2-3, 2021. SEE YOU THEN!

Clarification of NVRRA Covid-19 Compliance

In order that the Association be in complete compliance with Governor Baker’s executive orders regarding closure of nonessential businesses and organizations, the Nashua Valley Railroad Association headquarters in Phoenix Park must remain completely closed until the order is lifted by the Governor. This includes not only meetings and work sessions, but all other activities.
