Senior Membership

Senior members have full voting and access privileges, and may hold any office or role of the Association. 

This is our core membership type and all members are encouraged to participate at this level.

• 24 x 7 access to the association quarters to take advantage of the Large Model Railroad layout, DCC programming station, equipment maintenance and repair bench, and many other resources.

• May vote during elections, business meetings, and as committee members.

• May bring guests to the club quarters (guests are limited to 2 visits per year).

• May leave operable equipment (Locomotives and rolling stock on the layout (conditions apply).

• May have assigned storage space for inactive equipment (conditions apply).

• May hold positions of authority to help ensure the Association thrives.
  

Senior member applicants must complete attendance requirements during a 4 month application period before they can be elected at a monthly business meeting. Once elected there is a 6 month probation period during which they will not have unrestricted access to the association quarters.

Senior dues are currently $408 per year with a $20 non-refundable application fee.

Associate Membership

Associate members have no voting or unattended access privileges, and may hold only non-elected offices or roles of the Association. 

This is our alternate membership type to enable membership to those who have limited funds or live further away.

• Access to the association quarters is limited to when a Senior member is present and are limited to 24 visits per year.

• Associate members may make use of the Large Model Railroad layout, DCC programming station, equipment maintenance and repair bench, and many other resources.

• No voting privileges.

• No guests please.

• May not leave equipment (Locomotives and rolling stock) on the layout.

• May not have assigned storage space.

• May not hold positions of authority.
  

Associate member applicants will have their application read at the next monthly business meeting and then will be eligible for election at the following monthly business meeting.

Alumni Membership

Alumni members have no voting or unattended access privileges, and may hold only non-elected offices or roles of the Association. 

This is membership type is restricted to past Senior members who cannot commit to full Senior membership. This may be due to limited funds or they have moved further away, etc.

• Access to the association quarters is limited to when a Senior member is present and are limited to 24 visits per year.

• Associate members may make use of the Large Model Railroad layout, DCC programming station, equipment maintenance and repair bench, and many other resources.

• No voting privileges.

• No guests please.

• May not leave equipment (Locomotives and rolling stock) on the layout.

• May not have assigned storage space.

• May not hold positions of authority.
