The Layout

The layout has two primary decks with scenery, plus up to two more staging levels at various points around the layout. The layout’s double-track mainline is about 800 feet long, taking nearly 45 minutes to navigate the entire layout (with much more yet to be added as the layout is expanding according to our Master Plan).

The scenery is designed to be moderately prototypical and the time-frame for the layout is the 1980’s to the present day.

The layout is operated using a North Coast Engineering DCC system.

While the layout is primarily designed for point-to-point operations, it can run as a very long loop, making it easy for visitors to operate trains on the layout.
